ABOUT M-VISION

I started M-Vision as a way to fulfill my talent and passion for design. It was also a way that I could stay closer to my young, growing family. I work at my kitchen table with a cup a coffee and “Yankee Doodle” playing in the background. This may not be the ordinary cubical garden most companies offer, but it is much more suitable for my lifestyle and priorities.

I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Marketing Communications. I worked at Target Corporation in Minneapolis, Minnesota for almost six years. This was an opportunity of a lifetime! I was able to learn and work on direct and e-mail marketing programs, from beginning to end, at one of the world’s top retailers. Target is known for their extraordinary marketing campaigns and I am proud to have gotten my hands in many of them.

I traded the corporate world of traffic jams, boring meetings, and long hours for the domestic world of diapers, bottles, longer hours…and tremendous joy! (See my photo gallery to see the joy!)

I launched M-Vision Web Design in October of 2007. I felt it was time to take my design talent and put it to use again! I have been enjoying the challenges and freedom that have come with owning my own business. It has allowed me to balance my passion for work and love and needs of my family.

Apart from family, friends, and work, I am an active member of my community. I am very involved in the Prescott School District, a member and sponsor of the Prescott Area Chamber of Commerce, Prescott Daze Committee and Prescott Crime Stoppers. I am also a co-chair of the Mike Erickson Memorial Committee. I volunteer time at my church by participating in alter guild, special music, and Sunday school. I feel very strongly about giving back to the community that I grew up in, and developing its potential for my family and citizens.
